HOUSTON, Texas, April 27, 2017 – Soon Amarillo will be home to a second Neighbors Emergency Center. The newest Neighbors plans to start seeing patients in May 2017 and will be located at 4121 S. Georgia St., Amarillo, TX 79110.

Besides offering another great option in 24-hour emergency medical care in Amarillo, Neighbors will also bring an additional 30 jobs to the local economy by hiring board-certified physicians and medical teams with ER experience that can treat all adult and pediatric illnesses and injuries.

Neighbors has named Stephen Neumann, MD, as the center’s Medical Director, and Joshua Bailey as Facility Director. This Neighbors Emergency Center represents the second location to open in Amarillo, where Neighbors has been warmly greeted by the community for the extraordinary, personalized ER care it provides.

With little wait time and no crowded waiting areas, Neighbors Emergency Center Amarillo’s second location will also have an on-site laboratory and imaging services of X-Ray, CT Scan and Ultrasound. Having state-of-the-art equipment allows patient test results to return to the medical team faster, so the Neighbors physician can diagnose and begin treatment sooner.
