Free CPR Class to be Offered at Neighbors Emergency Center Pasadena on June 24
HOUSTON, Texas, June 12, 2017 – Cardiac arrest kills one person every two minutes. With that chilling statistic in mind, Neighbors Emergency Center Pasadena is offering a free CPR class to the community on Saturday, June 24. The four-hour class begins at 10 A.M. at Neighbors Pasadena located at 7215 Fairmont Pkwy, 77505. The center’s telephone number is 281-487-0339.
Harris County EMS will instruct the class, which is open to anyone but limited to 6 participants. Those interested in taking the free class should register by calling the Neighbors in Pasadena or stopping by the facility to enroll. Enrollment can also be done by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Class registration is on a first come, first serve basis.
“We are happy to offer this class to the Pasadena community who are literally our neighbors,” said Neighbors Pasadena Facility Director Brandi Bilek. “It’s important to act quickly when someone is experiencing cardiac distress. Most cardiac arrests will happen away from a medical facility. That’s why it’s important to know basic CPR that can help save a life. We hope many people will take advantage of this free event.”
Class participants will also be invited to tour the facility and meet their Best Neighbors Ever in Pasadena.
This free community CPR class is a direct link with Neighbors’ values of having a genuine heart, a creative spark and being loyal to the community it is proud to serve.
