Neighbors Emergency Center Amarillo South Ready to Open on May 27

HOUSTON, Texas, May 22, 2017 – Neighbors Emergency Center Amarillo South will start seeing patients on Saturday, May 27. The 24-hour ER center is at 4121 S. Georgia St., 79110. The center’s telephone number is 806-356-0634.

The new 8,000-square-foot center has brought approximately 30 jobs to the Amarillo economy by hiring local board-certified physicians and medical teams with emergency room experience that treat all adult and pediatric illness and injuries.

Along with the best personalized emergency medical care, patients can expect the same level of hospital-based ER services but with the Neighbors experience. That means no crowded waiting area and patients will be in a private exam room in less than 10 minutes.

Neighbors Amarillo South will hold its ribbon-cutting on Wednesday, May 31 at 4:30 P.M. The public is invited to attend.

“Neighbors is excited to expand here in Amarillo to better meet the needs of an under-served region in our community,” said Bailey. “The new Georgia center is centrally located and easily accessible via I-27. Neighbors is dedicated to making lives better here in the Panhandle by offering outstanding emergency care from two locations.”

It is Neighbors’ core principles that make it a standout in freestanding emergency rooms. Neighbors’ values include being genuine, compassionate and patient-driven; treating patients in a nurturing and honorable way; having friendly and welcoming employees; and always being transparent, accountable and cost-conscious.
