Neighbors Emergency Center Amarillo Teams with the Bulls to Honor First Responders February 10
HOUSTON, Texas, February 6, 2017 – Neighbors Emergency Center Amarillo is proud to partner with the Amarillo Bulls Hockey Team to sponsor First Responders Night on Friday, February 10 at the Amarillo Civic Center. Puck drops at 7 PM.
All Amarillo First Responders are eligible for one free admission ticket courtesy of Neighbors to the February 10 game when the Bulls take on the Wichita Falls Wildcats. In addition to honoring the brave men and women that serve the Amarillo community, Neighbors will also sponsor special activities before, during, and after the game.
The ceremonial puck drop will be done by Neighbors Emergency Center Amarillo Facility Director Josh Bailey with help from Scrubs, the official mascot of Neighbors.
The first intermission will feature a First Responders parade on the ice. After the parade, Scrubs will participate in a dance-off with audience members. Those lucky audience members will dance off with a free Scrubs teddy bear to take home.
During the game’s second period Neighbors will give away free t-shirts to audience members sitting in a “Lucky Row”.
Scrubs will invite all visiting mascots to join him for games on the ice during the second intermission. Fans will also get the chance to play Musical Chairs for the opportunity to win a great prize from Neighbors.
For the third period, fans will be encouraged to get rowdy with Scrubs! The Neighbors mascot will move around the arena to find the loudest section of fans. The winning section will receive Neighbors thundersticks to cheer on the Amarillo Bulls.
Hockey fans will also get the opportunity to meet Scrubs and take their picture with him after the game.
This fun, positive action is a direct link with Neighbors’ core values of having a compassionate heart, a creative spark, and being loyal to the community it serves with a friendly smile.
