HOUSTON, Texas, September 20, 2017 – Neighbors Emergency Center Brownsville prides itself on strengthening its community. With that aim, Neighbors Brownsville will host a “National Good Neighbor Day” event at the center located at 2073 E. Ruben Torres Sr. Blvd, 78526 on September 28 from 4-7 P.M. The public is invited to this free event to meet representatives from Brownsville’s Police and Fire departments, Border Patrol, City of Brownsville 546-HELP and five non-profit organizations in one convenient location: Brownsville Rotary Clubs, Tip-O-Texas Family Outreach, Veteran Females United, STAVIA and Health Communities. Guests can learn more about the many helpful services these organizations provide as well as be able to sign up to volunteer for service projects sponsored by the groups.
Neighbors is pleased to partner with Brownville’s four local Rotary Clubs to bring this opportunity to the community to recognize the importance of being, and having, a good neighbor.
Event guests can also tour Neighbors Emergency Center Brownsville, meet the medical staff and learn more about the services Neighbors provides.
