Neighbors Emergency Center Lakeline Grants School Nurse’s Wishes At CC Mason Elementary, Leander ISD
HOUSTON, Texas, October 25, 2016 – Living the Neighbors Emergency Center Lakeline value of being loyal to the local community, Neighbors partnered with the Leander Education Excellent Foundation (LEEF) to donate $675 for needed health-related equipment and education to CC Mason Elementary School. The presentation was made at the Leander ISD campus on October 18.
School nurse Wendy Reed, RN, submitted the grant proposal to LEEF, which reached out to Neighbors Emergency Center Lakeline for assistance. The Neighbors grant will pay for teacher first aid kits, a pulse oximeter, heating pads, and light covers for the school clinic. Also, Reed will be able to attend the National Association of School Nurses Conference and the Scott and White Conference because of Neighbors’ donation.
Neighbors Emergency Center Regional Field Marketing Manager Kailin Miner presented the donation at CC Mason Elementary.
