  • Neighbors Emergency Center Lubbock Honored to Serve as Toys for Tots Donation Drop Off Site

HOUSTON, Texas, November 28, 2017 – In the spirit of giving and continually striving to be the Best Neighbors Ever, Neighbors Emergency Center Lubbock is pleased to partner with the local Marine Toys for Tots Foundation for the 2017 Toys for Tots Toy Drive.

Beginning Tuesday, November 28, Lubbock residents are encouraged to drop off a new, unwrapped toy at Neighbors Lubbock. The 24-hour freestanding emergency center is located at 4337 50th St., 79413. The center’s telephone number is 806-701-5050.

Toys collected at Neighbors through the December 13 finish date will remain in the Lubbock area to help make the holidays brighter for local children in need. The first 25 people that drop off a toy donation at Neighbors Lubbock will receive a complimentary Scrubs teddy bear. Scrubs the Bear is the official mascot of Neighbors Emergency Center.

“Neighbors Emergency Center Lubbock would like to share our blessings with those who need help, especially this time of year,” said Neighbors Lubbock Medical Director Dr. James Williams. “We are proud to participate in the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program which has distributed over 530 million toys to more than 244 million less fortunate children. We invite the community that we are privileged to serve to join us in caring for our neighbors and make a contribution today.”

This community collaboration is a direct link with a Neighbors’ core value of having a compassionate heart and proudly serving the community we are honored to serve.
