Neighbors Emergency Center Pasadena, TX Location Supports Education, Sponsors School-Wide T-shirt Initiative at Lewis Career & Technical High School

HOUSTON, Texas, September 30, 2016 – For the second consecutive year as the exclusive sponsor, the Neighbors Emergency Center Pasadena, TX location has proudly donated 1,600 t-shirts to the entire Dr. Kirk Lewis Career and Technical High School community.

This year’s bright orange shirts were distributed to Lewis students, staff and faculty in August to kick-off the new school year. The success of this t-shirt initiative is evident every day at the high school campus, as school officials say the Neighbors shirts can be worn any school day.

“The students and staff love the shirts and appreciate the generosity of Neighbors,” said Career and Community Coordinator Diane Barnes. “Any day of the week you will see the bright orange shirts on our campus. You can actually see a mixture of all three of the shirts that have been donated on any given day. I do think this orange one is their favorite.”

This donation is a direct link with Neighbors’ company values of being collaborative within our communities while hoping to ignite the creative spark in students and show support for the work of local educators.
