Neighbors Emergency Center Texarkana Supports Breast Cancer Awareness, Sponsors Susan G. Komen Texarkana “Race for the Cure” Team
HOUSTON, Texas, October 10, 2016 – The Neighbors Emergency Center Texarkana location is a proud sponsor of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month initiative of the Susan G. Komen “Race for the Cure” in Texarkana on October 15.
Besides having a presence and booth at the event, Neighbors is also sponsoring a team that will participate in the race. Texarkana resident Lisa Douglas will serve as the Neighbors team captain for “We Race as One”.
With one in eight women in the US affected by breast cancer, Neighbors understands the importance of supporting all those affected by breast cancer in October and beyond. By partnering with the Susan G. Komen “We Race as One” in Texarkana, Neighbors hopes to help save lives and make a lasting impact against breast cancer in the community.
This positive action is a direct link with Neighbors’ company values of having a genuine, compassionate heart; a guardian mentality that protects those in need; and a collaborative act delivered with a friendly smile in the communities we serve.
