    Neighbors Emergency Center Wichita Falls Recognizes Three High School Seniors with Scholarships

    HOUSTON, Texas, January 31, 2017 – To honor students that embody the core values of Neighbors Emergency Center, the Wichita Falls location recently recognized three local high school seniors with scholarships.

    The Neighbors Scholarship is a direct link and based on the company’s values of having a genuine heart; a creative spark; a nurturing mentality; and a collaborative action delivered with a friendly, welcoming smile. The winning students exemplify these values in their education and everyday lives.

    One winner from each high school in Wichita Falls Independent School District was chosen for the Fall 2016 semester and awarded a $100 gift card and presented a certificate of recognition. This spring, three more seniors will be spotlighted. One student from the six honorees this academic year will be granted a $1,000 scholarship from Neighbors Emergency Center Wichita Falls and a plaque with the student’s photo will be placed in Neighbors’ center lobby.

    Rider High School senior Anthony Aranda maintains a 3.82 GPA and has participated in football and track all four years of high school. Aranda has already been accepted to Texas Tech University and plans to major in Journalism and minor in Business Administration. He hopes to build a career in the Sports Journalism Entertainment business.

    Hirschi High School senior Zackary Downing is part of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program and has a 4.0 GPA. Involved in football, soccer, and track, Downing was also a member of the Big Blue Marching Band. He plans to attend Oklahoma State University and major in Mechanical Engineering next year.

    Wichita Falls High School senior Dana Eipper is President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) at WFHS and is also Parliamentarian of the Student Council. She is active in the National Honor Society, PALs, and Spanish Club. Eipper plans to attend Dallas Baptist University and double major in Kinesiology and Missions and then pursue a career in education.
