Neighbors Health LLC Supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Corporate Initiative Focuses on Support, Education in Partnership with Mix 96.5
HOUSTON, Texas, September 28, 2016 – Neighbors Health, the parent company of Neighbors Emergency Center, is proud to kick-off a Breast Cancer Awareness Month initiative in conjunction with Mix 96.5 beginning September 26.
Neighbors is co-sponsoring the “Lounge for Life” concert on October 26 at the Revention Music Center. The concert will feature recording artists Gavin Degraw, Andy Grammer and Wrabel. Tickets are on sale now with one dollar from each ticket sold to benefit The Rose, a non-profit breast cancer organization, that offers a full range of breast cancer screening and diagnosis services for Houston women.
As part of the “Lounge for Life” experience, Houstonians are encouraged to stop by one of the nine Houston-area Neighbors Emergency Centers to remember or show support for a breast cancer warrior by writing a message and leaving it on the Tribute Wall at each center. Tribute Walls will be in all nine Houston area centers by October 3. Mix 96.5 will also conduct radio remotes from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the following Neighbors Emergency Centers for listeners to enter for a chance to win free concert tickets: Saturday, October 1 at the Pearland location in front of Pearland Town Center; Saturday, October 8 at the Pasadena center at Fairmont and Center Street; Saturday, October 15 at the Porter location at 22678 Highway 59 in Porter; and Saturday, October 22 at the Bellaire location at 5413 S. Rice, Ave. in Houston.
The special Tribute Walls at all nine Houston area Neighbors Emergency Centers and the “Lounge for Life” concert are a celebration of women and life, especially during October with Breast Cancer Awareness initiatives in the forefront.
With one in eight women in the US affected by breast cancer, and over 12,000 new cases diagnosed in Houston each year, Neighbors understands the importance of supporting all those affected by breast cancer in October and beyond.
